Cross Crawl

The goal is to integrate simultaneous body movements using both sides of the body and brain, to increase neural activity and overall awareness of body.

  1. Assume cross-crawl pattern by placing right ear to floor while touching nose with left index finger and simultaneously bending right leg and hip to 90 degrees to reach right hand toward right foot.
  2. Alternate movements from side to side, turning head and touching nose with opposite hand. Rotate hips straightening the right leg while bending the left leg and grabbing left ankle with left hand.

This can be done on a soft floor or in the middle of a firm bed.
